Building Materials - Bio Architecture - TestimonialsAs nature uses shape to hold charge or life force, it makes complete sense to use nature's shapes and proportions for the shape of our spaces and buildings. In terms of architecture and design of space, I believe that by creating spaces that are based on the pure principles of natural design we provide a sacred environment that can nurture our bodies, minds and spirits. We can literally design to raise the vibration of the inhabitants. We can use our quantum consciousness to create the space, and to clear it of any stresses that do not serve life. - Michael Rice Sacred Geometry can be defined as an understanding of the underlying numerical and geometric principles of Creation. Using an awareness of ratio, or the relationship between two or more elements, Sacred Geometry demonstrates how everything in the Universe is connected and that the only power that can truly create is Love. The more coherent a space is the more vitality it will nurture. Sacred geometry, or spiritual geometry, is the belief that numbers and patterns such as the divine ratio have sacred significance. Many mystical and spiritual practices, including astrology, numerology, tarot, and feng shui, begin with a fundamental belief in sacred geometry. Architects and designers may draw upon concepts of sacred geometry when they choose particular geometric forms to create pleasing, soul-satisfying spaces. Sacred Geometry incorporates and utilises certain natural geometries, shapes, forms, ratios and growth patterns to create life and living sustainable systems- from the formative fabric and primary structure of the Universe, Stars and Planets- to the fundamental creative role played by consciousness, awareness and compassion. Our thoughts, when amplified by coherent emotion, literally create reality. When we begin to understand who we are and what we want- we can use this knowledge to help us make it so. There exists in nature patterns in shapes, colors and mathematics that are the description and content of creation. Within these patterns we encounter the underlying principles that make it possible for our universe to exist! The movement of energy as it proceeds in its never ending process of transformation can be seen. It is a universal language of truth, harmony, beauty, proportion, rhythm and order. Within the dance lie sub-atomic particles, spiraling galaxies, wave theory, zero point, holographic fields, the fractal universe, geometry of DNA, and finally, sacred architecture. Embark on this path to understanding who you are, where you are from and where you are going. "The Earth is rude, silent, incomprehensible at first, Nature is incomprehensible at first, Be not discouraged, keep on, there are divine things well envelop'd, I swear to you there are divine beings more beautiful than words can tell." -Walt Whitman (1819 - 1892, American Poet) No prior knowledge or understanding is required to attend this workshop. Throughout this dynamic module you will:Draw the sacred shapes and explore their integration into real world design. We will explore the practical uses in spatial design - a fusion of Geomancy, science and Feng Shui, while integrating sacred geometry and architectural harmonies into our work. Every culture and society, since the beginning of time has had their version of a synergistic interrelationship with these patterns. We will view case histories and examples of the patterned language of nature, including geometric shapes, music, art, the human body, landscaping, architecture inspired by the Cosmic Order, including Feng Shui, Sacred Geometry and Vastu Shastra (vedic design) Mandalas. This workshop is designed to present a good grounding in the science and art of Sacred Geometry, as well as some practical applications and exercises. There will be many images, movies and examples to aid this understanding. Once the foundation is established, we will take this information to a deeper level, with more integration and practice- and will be specifically aimed at designers, creators, and healers who anticipate using this in a more applied and focused way- such as the creation of healthier spaces and the amplification of our natural abilities.
"Number is the within of all things" Historical as well as cultural perspectives will be entertained so as to draw a relationship between primitive indigenous and modern design. By studying the nature of these forms and their relationship to each other one may gain insight into the scientific, philosophical, psychological, aesthetic, and mystical laws of the universe. Building MaterialsAs a rule of thumb we should employ building materials in a state closest to that in which they are found. The more coherent a material is the more vitality it will nurture. (best first) Metals: Gold, palladium, platinum,
silver, copper, iron, tin, steel, aluminium. Sacred ArchitectureThe bee hive and the pine cone are excellent examples of sacred architecture because as biological capacitors they implode charge, making life and bliss possible and sustainable. They are made of biologic di-electric (self-similar at atomic and molecular symmetry levels), what Reich used to call orgone material, really names for fractal capacitive di-electric. The reason a beehive or a celtic straw hut in sea spray makes things live so long, is because they are good capacitors. Ancient dolmen sites, fresh eggs and even cathedrals hold life in bliss in the spell of their charge, because they are 'in charge' - that is - FULL OF CHARGE. Life occurs when biological structures learn to gather charge in enough different wavelengths to cause them to compress or 'implode'. When enough different waves gather in one place in the Golden Mean ratio they begin to suck in an infinite number of other waves - but always in Golden Mean ratio. This is the only way the universe has of arranging an infinite (in-PHI-knit) number of waves to gather at ONE point without hurting each other. "The only definition of sacred (sustainable) architecture is the skill to fabricate a biological capacitor. The way success is measured in a building (or anything) is harmonic inclusiveness of charge density (life)." -Dan Winter BIO ARCHITECTURE

... expanding myself in this direction has been such
a energy change in many ways. I am looking forward to continuing playing in
this area to see where I go with it. I will be applying it right away to a
client's play yard.

• the illustrating of how everything around
us can be fractally connected from macro levels to micro.. from actual physical
exercise to intangible energy is simply fascinating... also enjoyed to occasional
humor.
• learning about perfection that exists in nature and how we can recreate
parts of it to create spaces we are meant to be around.
• Michael Rice teaches and makes things easy to understand. I liked the
balance between thoery and practical exercises.
• His thorough grasp of the discipline of sacred geometry and its relationship
to feng shui and the rest of life. The big context as well as the nitty gritty
of drawing applications.
The show (slides) and tell (stories), Depth and breath
of information as well as the flow was fantastic!! My perspective of the world
has been greatly enhanced

Learning about how shapes (different from the ones we're used to) affect how
we feel and how we live and communicate. Loved seeing all the pictures of Michael's
home and the building plans.
-Kat Crawford- organizer and decorator.
The clarity compassion and humor as to how the subject
matter was delivered. Micahel's voice.
-Katya
Mixture of science, architecture, history... great background information
as well as applicable design information.
-Barbara Lyons Stewart/ architecture
The wonderfulness of the information. I need more!
-Vic Ketis
Introduction to the subject and exposure to Michael and his wisdom.
-Ryan Muhr/gardener
Creating sacred geometry with string and on paper. Also
working with house/room plans.
-Laura, architect
Very enjoyable, incredibly informative, superb educator,
Makes information highly accessible. Teaching using multiple approaches, engaging
listening, drawing collaboration, tactile, body movement. Effectively embedded
his sacred knowledge in each and everyone of us. What a gift. Handing a complex
body of knowledge and sharing its practical application- through architecture
showed us all where this could go. Having the personal experience of coming
into alignment, dropping through the worm hole-priceless.
-Sally Grisedale
the incredible presentation and drawing
the geometries. Very lovely energy and awareness that Michael brought. A
lot of heart opening wisdom. Loved how everything came together- the bio,
living, consious cosmic implosion of knowledge.
-Marjory Mejia, architect
designer
All the intricate shapes in nature and how they relate
to each other and how they can be integrated in the design of space.

As a new student of sacred geometry. I greatly appreciated Michael's approach (both practical and academics well as anecdotal stories/images) to imparting his amazing breadth of knowledge. Michael is a natural educator and soulful humanist with the gift of gab and quick wit. The best module to date!
The fact that sacred geometry us the fabric of the
universe us based on- and can be integrated into all areas of life in order
to create more harmony!!
